Hike through Fraser Island

Fraser Island, located off the coast of Queensland, is the world's largest sand island. Stretching over 123 kilometres along the southern coast of Queensland. This rugged and sandy island features champagne pools, extensive beaches, towering pines and has over 100 freshwater lakes. It has many panoramic viewpoints and is a true paradise for adventurers.

It is the only place in the world where tall rainforests grow on the sand dunes. The indigenous people of the region, the Butchulla people, named the island K’gari which means paradise. For four days and three nights, you will explore the Fraser Islands Great Walk Track together with a local guide.

The various walks will take you past all kinds of highlights such as the Valley of the Giants, Lake Garawongera and Pile Valley. You will walk through a varied landscape, with freshwater lakes, rainforest and towering trees.

Don’t worry because you don't have to carry your suitcase with you! At night, you will stay at a retreat, located in the forest above Kingfisher Bay with a view over the waters of the Great Sandy Strait. The hike is a unique experience in a spectacular part of the world.
