An absolute “off the grid” experience in Western Australia

Stay in a charming cottage in Western Australian region, the Wheatbelt: a region surrounded by rolling farmland, quirky rural townships and granite outcrops. Visit outback pubs, go on a road trip or experience a farm stay!

This place has the world’s most extensive collection of wildflowers. Follow a wildflower trail in the spring and view the spectacular sight of colours. During your visit, you can also observe one of Australia’s biggest waves, which is not found in the ocean! Wave Rock is a well-known natural phenomenon. Located near the Wheatbelt town of Hyden, a charming 340-kilometre drive from Perth. This multicoloured granite rock was formed over 2,700 million years ago, and today, it is a popular tourist destination.

The Nenke family welcomes you to their home, an authentic Western Australian Wheatbelt rural experience. The family first moved to the property in 1912, and now has third, fourth and fifth generations living here. The accommodation is located in Kukerin on an eco-farm.

Close by, you'll find Australia's largest yabby farm, Cambinata Yabbies. Discover charming small towns, rural farms and delicious local produce. Take a wander around the farm, watch kangaroos grazing on sunset or check out the beehives and taste fresh honey! The backyard features an old truck, a place where you can now barbecue.
