Set on a seven-acre farm in Mapua, in between Nelson and the Abel Tasman National Park, is a rustic, bright and quirky three-bedroom cottage. The kids will love the loft room that can be reached via a ladder. Surrounded by gardens, it's a palace to enjoy the countryside.
- The property offers different types of accommodation
- It is a very child-friendly place and has animals such as sheep
- Located close to Mapua village and the beach
- Set in an idyllic garden landscape
Iconic Kiwi corrugated iron and koru artwork are featured throughout the cottage. Your hosts, Adele and Roger, have been living in the region for over 25 years and have an abundance of knowledge to share with you. They share the farm with sheep, chickens, frogs, a variety of birds and their two children.
Mapua Village and Wharf are a five-minute drive away and here you can find a mix of cafes, restaurants, galleries and shops. Try Smokehouse for fish and chips, Alberta’s for coffee and Golden Bear Brewery for craft beers. You can find the Nelson Tasman Great Taste Bike Trail nearby or catch the ferry from Mapua across to Rabbit Island and explore the unspoilt beaches.
