A luxury lodge with picturesque Hawke’s Bay vineyard views

A region renowned for sunshine, wine and local food producers, Hawke’s Bay is wine country. New Zealand’s second-largest wine region and the country’s oldest winemaking region. It is also one of the best places to discover traditional Maori food. Regional chefs are constantly inspired with a range of sensational ingredients to choose from, supplied by the local growers and artisan food producers.

In Napier, a city renowned for its Art Deco buildings, you will find a weekly traditional farmer’s market. This area is a foodie’s dream, you can find local cheese, honey, olives, wine and much more. Also in the area, you can cycle through the vineyards, fish, play golf, visit local markets and discover nature trails.

Meet the chef

Your host is a well-known chef, a local New Zealander born and raised outside of the city of Christchurch. He is passionate about creating dishes with local produce and using ingredients directly from the lodge’s garden. The five-course degustation menu is created daily and is served together with some of New Zealand’s most excellent wines.

With views over the rural landscape and hundreds of pristine Chardonnay vines, your suite has a queen-size bed and an ensuite bathroom. Relax in the guest lounge or on the veranda. Take a stroll through the two and a half acres of lush gardens and discover the lily pond.
