A B&B in the Banks Peninsula Conservation Area

Imagine sitting with a glass of wine and listening to the sound of silence while looking for Hector Dolphins and Orca Whales. Or, if you prefer to be active, go mountain biking, trekking, fishing, or tour Akaroa and the rest of the Banks Peninsula and capture some beautiful images along the way. You will sense the serenity and tranquillity of the setting the moment you arrive, allowing you to rest from your busy lives.

Port Levy is a long, sheltered bay on the Banks Peninsula. As part of a conservation area, it has outstanding natural beauty. It is located just over an hour from Christchurch or Akaroa, or 20 minutes from Diamond Harbour via the Black Cat ferry from Lyttleton. The property was designed by architects and completed in 2007. It covers 5 hectares of land grazed by sheep and hens. The grounds are covered with native trees and shrubs - and over 300 Pine Nut trees. The property also includes an outdoor entertaining area with seating, a wood-fired pizza oven, a barbecue and a hot tub.

You will stay in the Deluxe Double Bedroom. The lower ground floor is for your personal use. On this floor, you have a bedroom, bathroom and a refreshment area. Your bedroom has a double bed and french doors leading to the lawn, gardens, and patio area with views across the bay. If you have booked dinner with your stay, the first night features a grazing platter, the second night is a three-course meal, and any subsequent nights have one main dish. WiFi is available but there is no cell reception. You can use bikes during your stay as well.
